NEW! 10+state Fibershed Exhibition!, Talks, Demos
Saturday October 19, 2024 9:00am - 5:00pm EDT
Fibershed organizations from around the country will display their region's product samples and demonstrate educational activities for all. Learn about what's happening nationwide from natural dyes to fiber production, soil regeneration to wastewater & waste wool!

Fibersheds coming from California, Ohio, North Carolina, Maryland, Louisiana, West Virginia, and all of New England.

Join the Fibersheds Saturday, October 21, 1:30-2:30PM for a talk on "Mapping A Fibershed One Stitch and One Color At A Time"
A fibershed is a geographic region connected by a network of fiber and natural dye producers. Many states have their own fibershed and each with a different mission to connect producers to designers and makers. For this exciting panel join artist, crafter and writer Katrina Rodabaugh, Connecticut Fibershed's Jennifer Duff, Botanical Colors' Communications Director Amy DuFault and Chesapeake Fibershed's Marian Bruno for a meaningful discussion on how mending and dyes are just a piece of this bigger puzzle.
Panel moderated by Lexi Fujii, Membership & Learning Coordinator from Fibershed headquarters in Northern California.
